Fuchsias
Hi All,
I'm back!!! Sorry for the lack of blogging of late but I have been busy working on the samples for my next create and craft show on 1st June, and I can't show you them quite yet!!! We have had a super busy start to May as we have been back out at shows, the first being Happy Stampers North West last weekend and then we are off to the Ross Papercraft Show at Nissan tomorrow.
So onto todays card/project! This did start out as a card, all of the matting and layering was done using Bazzill Bling! Cardstock in a variety of pinks and purples, I love this cardstock it is just so sparkly and I love the canvas texture. The centre piece was cut using a go Kreate frilly frame die which I cut from white card and then inked using tumbled glass distress ink, I then glittered the edge of the shape using crystal glitter. The fuchsias were created by stamping them out various times onto coloured card stock and embossing them in silver I then cut them out and decoupaged it was crying out for a little extra sparkle so I glittered all of the flowers using pink and purple glitters. To finish I added a few jewels, a couple of butterflies and a sentiment.
So as I said earlier this started off as a card, but whilst browsing round Ikea I spotted these fab box frames, so I framed the card and it is now hung in the unit.... Hence the glare in the photo!lol
Bye for now,
Chloe
